Re: The Abandoned Property Project

The rabbit enclosure will be going up first in the spring, it will house my daughters pet rabbits as well as either continental or Flemish giants for some meat. I'll be tilling a 1-1.5 acre garden plot once the ground sof...

Re: The Abandoned Property Project

There are plenty of goodies I've found around the property as well, an old chainsaw, an ancient generator and a welder are some of what I've found. I will try and snag some decent pictures of them as I clean them up and attempt to get them all running again.

The Abandoned Property Project

As I mentioned in the Excursion build thread I also recently bought property which is consuming most of my free time and money. The property is around 3 acres, surrounded by family farmland and was abandoned for 5 years. 20201225_153947 - Copy.jpg Here you can see that it is pretty overgrown and wil...

Re: My Excursion build.

I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes as there will probably never be and end result, it will evolve until I wreck it or sell it for something different. It has been a very long time since I got deep into building a vehicle and my experience with differential re-gearing is non existent, we out...

Re: My Excursion build.

60 Front day 1.jpg The first major upgrade purchased is this Dana 60 front axle from a similar year F350 superduty. I am aware that a 2005 or newer axle would allow me to switch the front to coil springs but this axle was the right price and it was hanging from a hoist when I arrived to pick it up....

My Excursion build.

Excursion day 1.jpg Here it is, first night back home. stock axles, 6" block lift, Chinese brand 37" tires with studs, doubled up wheel spacers and a crusty old glasspack muffler. Looking past all those fixable issues, the body is fairly straight and should be perfect once I trim it up fo...

Re: My Miniature Painting Setup

I had a similar desk in my teens I used for various projects. It was dank I can imagine for painting the miniatures its perfect as its easy to keep well lit. I can't remember the name of the product but it was basically a stiff version of cling wrap that I used to protect the desk surface when I was...

Re: The Introduction Thread

I'm Jeese, I like games, trucks, and guns. Some things to note about me before reading anything I post: 1) Yes, I know there is an easier way. I'm cheap, deal with it 2) Yes, I know whatever it is is bad for me. I'm cheap, deal with it. 3) Yes, I know there is a safer way. I'm cheap, deal with it. 4...
